Hi, I'm Lisa. I'm a Montessori-trained teacher, New Zealand registered teacher, former homeschooler and founder of a Montessori primary school.

I create resources for the realities teachers and homeschoolers actually face: mixed ages, limited preparation time, children working at different levels, tight budgets and learners who don't always fit neatly into one box.

Montessori home education, now with teacher support

Montessori Kiwi now offers supported home education programmes for families in New Zealand and Australia.

These programmes are designed for parents who want the freedom of homeschooling without having to plan an entire education from scratch.

Your child can receive:

  • a structured Montessori curriculum
  • personalised mathematics and literacy
  • individual teacher feedback on submitted work
  • optional one-to-one teacher support
  • a low-screen approach built around books, practical work, projects and real-world learning
  • guidance from a Montessori-trained teacher with experience as a school founder and homeschooling parent

New Zealand families

Our New Zealand home education programme follows the four NZ school terms and provides approximately 10 months of active curriculum planning, teacher feedback and support each year.

Optional help is also available for families preparing a Montessori-style home education application.

NZ$1,950 per child, per school year

Australian families

Our Australian programme gives homeschool families access to a structured Montessori curriculum alongside personalised maths and literacy, individual teacher feedback and optional weekly one-to-one support.

Founding Australian families: AU$1,950 for the first year
Standard programme fee: AU$2,400 per child per year.

You homeschool. You don't have to carry the whole educational load alone.
