As a trained Montessori teacher, former homeschooler, and parent of a neurospicy child, I’ve learned that traditional Montessori literacy materials—while beautifully structured—aren't always enough.
The classic Pink/Blue/Green Series introduces reading concepts in an organised way, but alone, they don’t provide the comprehensive, science-backed support children need to become confident readers.
Over the past five years, I’ve deepened my understanding of the Science of Reading through extensive study and practice. As a result, I’ve significantly evolved my teaching methods—while still staying grounded in Montessori principles.
So why this resource?
Many Science of Reading tools out there are not designed, understandably, with Montessori values. They’re often cartoon-heavy, lack self-correcting features, or don’t follow Montessori moveable alphabet colour coding and aesthetics.
That’s where this resource comes in. I’ve done the heavy lifting for you. You can get individual items here.

A montessori moveable alphabet or similar, some clothes pegs, whiteboard pen and plastic sleeve or laminator.

Yes, while full instructions are given with each item please note that if you buy individual items you will not get access to the scope and sequence which is in the full bundle. You can get individual items here.
🗓️ When will the full set be complete?
The aim is to complete this resource by Late August 2025.
👶 What ages is this for?
Designed for children in Cycle 1 and Lower Elementary (ages 4–8). However, it’s currently being used with great success with older children as well. It’s not “cute” or babyish—making it ideal for learners with disabilities or neurodivergence.
📦 Does this align with other commercially available Montessori sets?
No. This is an original set, designed from scratch by me, based on real classroom experience and modern reading science, the colour coding system is mine alone.
Absolutely not! Use what serves your child. I’m a firm believer in teaching the child, not just the curriculum.
