Modern Montessori Reading SOR Short and Long Vowel Aural 'Memory' Game (literacy)

Before students read more complicated words it is important they know the sounds of short and long vowels e.g. a can make the sound like in tap or a long sound like in tape.

This is a 'memory' card game where students turn over cards and match them to their short or long sound.

Simply print back to back and cut.

You can make the game easier by using just some of the cards.
