Capital letters word sorting (literacy)

A word sorting activity for the rules of capital letters.

Three sets of cards to help your students learn the rules of capital letters.

HOW TO USE
Each set has 4 categories and 7-9 words that go under that category.
Example. Under the heading card 'Days of the week have capitals' the child finds a day of the week and places it under this heading.

Print off an answer sheet and students can independently check their work

SET 1 Categories:
Days of the week
Months
Places names
Continents

SET 2 Categories:
Countries
Cities
Streets
Brands (e.g. Pepsi)

SET 3 Categories
Names of titles (e.g Mr, Mrs)
Structures
A persons name
Languages
