Alternative Basic Facts Equations Bundle | Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division

Help children build flexibility with basic facts by showing them that equations can be written in more than one way.

This Alternative Basic Facts Equations Bundle gives students repeated practice solving missing number equations across addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Instead of only seeing equations in one familiar format, children work with different equation structures such as:

? = 8 + 4
6 = 2 + ?
6 = ? + 2
a ÷ ? = c
? ÷ b = c

This is ideal for children who know some of their basic facts but get stuck when the unknown number appears in a different place. The activities help students develop number flexibility, algebraic thinking and a stronger understanding of how equations work.
