Students look at the cost of an item and work out how many $10 notes it would cost to buy it e.g. a jacket worth $380 needs 38 ten dollar notes.
A necklace worth $456 needs 46 ten dollar notes (46 because the item is more than $450!)
This activity is designed as a 'match up' game where students match the question card to the answer card.
