A complete Montessori learning pack for one NZ school term

Each term includes:

There is no set amount of work per day.
Children choose from materials they’ve been shown and repeat them as often as needed.

• Continent study: Africa

• Aotearoa — physical and cultural landmarks, kiwiana

Science

• Astronomy

• Life cycle of stars

• Planets, nebulae, and space travel

History

• Past and present

• Seasons across cultures

• Calendars and significant dates (e.g. Matariki, Waitangi Day)

• Timeline of the child’s own life

• People of significance in their world

Each term has a different focus, building understanding over time.

You don’t need to be a Montessori teacher

You provide:

• Support and guidance for your child

• A shelf or learning area

• Printing of materials

We provide:

• The structure

• The materials

• The philosophy

• The guidance

• The check-ins

Where helpful, you may add physical Montessori maths materials — we can lend or advise on these.

What if my child moves faster or slower?

That’s expected.

Learning is self-paced.
We check in regularly and can:

• Help with pacing

• Modify materials

• Add extensions or simplify when needed

• Term 2: 20 April – 3 July

• Term 3: 27 July – 25 September

• Term 4: 12 October – 3 December

If you start partway through a term, the difference will be refunded.
