How to Use

Print the pages, cut out the cards and laminate if you would like them to last longer.

Introduce one or two colour groups at first if the child is new to sorting, then gradually add more.

Children can sort the picture cards beneath the matching colour heading, with or without the written colour name card depending on their stage.

You can also extend the activity by asking questions such as:

• What else can you find in the room that is red?
• Can one object be more than one colour?
• Which colour group has the most objects?
• Can you name something else that belongs in this group?
